Port Ambonne was designed by the architect François Lopez, at the request of the brothers Paul and René Oltra, founders of naturism in Cap d'Agde. Its curved shape and stepped terraces stood out from the local architecture of the time. The same architect later designed Héliopolis.
The atmosphere is peaceful, with green spaces and a clientele of regulars. You are a 4-minute walk from the 2 km-long naturist beach and close to the shops, without the evening noise. It is a very good compromise between the lively atmosphere of Port Nature and the complete calm of Port Vénus.
